Bike Store, Tool Shed, Coal Scuttle & Sculpture

 

A commission to design a curio in a secluded back court garden of a Edinburgh's secret gem; The Dynamite Club.

​

The installation holds storage for two bikes, a garden shed and a coal cellar, tidying up a scruffy forgotten corner of the garden. The roof, visible from one of the guest rooms, forms a calming Japanese rock garden.

 

The lantern creates a spectacle, exhibiting pieces collected by the proprietors and has carefully calibrated openings to create a little glimpse of the secrets contained within.
